Dearly Loved

Lilli was the most beautiful ballerina in the Theatre School of Dance's 2014 dance recital, Dearly Loved.  All of the music had a love theme but my favorite thing about her studio is that it's Christ centered.  It's so refreshing to go to a performance where they pray before it starts and dance to Christian music.  Not all of it of course but there is a good balance.

Her class danced to "One Drop" by Plumb and Lilli knew all of the moves.  She smiled the whole time and was just the cutest thing (I'm not biased of course).  And during the curtain call she was such a ham curtsying and waving.  I didn't get any pictures backstage and they didn't allow photography during but we did get a few before we left.

Yaya, Pops, Lizard and Peggy all also came to watch.  We had a really good visit Saturday afternoon and this morning before they left.  They spoil Lilli rotten!!
Belly scratching. I'm sure Katie will be right in this too when she learns to ask.

My grandma paid me the biggest compliment I may have ever been paid as a mother this morning.  (Well, I cant take all the credit. Matt works so hard for us and does so much to make us all happy.) She was looking around and said "Amy, this is a truly happy household." It really touched me. We all want our kids to grow up to be smart and successful but I think it's universal that what we want the most is for them to be happy.

We hated to see them go but it is nice to know we'll see them again in 4 days when we head down to the beach!!

It's worth it brothers
It's worth it friends
To know your maker
To lose your sin
Did you know that you are dearly loved
