It's Officially Official!

We are moving! Whew! What a whirlwind few weeks this has been. Matt called me a few weeks ago because he had passed a For Sale By Owner property that he wanted me to see. I said I'd go but never thought anything would come of it. I mean, we weren't even talking about moving, let alone looking; but sometimes things just work out that way. It's a beautiful 20 acre property with a manufactured home, 800+ square foot shed/man cave, above ground pool, chicken coup and the perfect place to build one day. 

We made an offer before we left for Grand Isle and they called while we were gone and accepted. It was all verbal until Tuesday but now we have a signed contract and everything has been sent to a lender and title company. Of course because we weren't talking about it we weren't sure what to do with our house. We spent the 2nd half of spring break last week cleaning up and cleaning out. We went back and forth between renting it and selling it but we finally decided to list and Sandy will come by this weekend to do paperwork. It's funny now that's it's all done I feel like we have so much space. I have to remember the 2 storage buildings we have too. :) 

I found them sitting just like this when I walked out of the storage building. I told them it looks like they were posed. 

Matt spent all weekend working in the yard, planting and cleaning out. The only kid toy left is the trampoline and it makes it look so much bigger. 

And Miss KatieJane had to give up her king size bed (we saved it for the guest room) to give her room more space. Our crib is finally converted to a real bed and it brought memories to see it back in the house.  

Now we are praying for a fast contract so that we can move towards the beginning of the summer. We want time to enjoy that pool! :) And get settled before school and work start back.
