I Had a Birthday!
I cannot believe I forgot to post about my own birthday yesterday. As you know, I have always been a big believer that birthdays should be thoroughly celebrated. And have never shied away from making big plans for my own. But as I get older I guess it’s not quite as exciting. Probably because no matter what I do those numbers won’t stop going up. 😊 But as my Nana says, “it beats the alternative!” And I know she’s right- Getting older is a privilege denied to many...

All in all a really good day. Thanks to all my friends and family that made me feel so special.
My morning was pretty uneventful, spent cleaning the house and grocery shopping. But the afternoon was wonderful! I didn’t take any pics of me and Katie’s lunch with Yaya, Hailey, Lane and Sandy but we had the best cheesecake. I didn’t take any pictures of the four of us going to dinner with Cara and Luke either but we all enjoyed Outback. I did get a picture of the crown Katie’s teacher gave me that she had me wear half the day. ;)

Plus we were outside riding bikes and I realized a PTL Mom lives a few houses down with her two kids. They just moved in a few months ago and we’ve only recently started going outside in the front since they got the bikes. Her kids stayed and played about an hour which made for two happy little girls. I have a feeling this will be a lot of our summer and they have a pool! Good friends to have. 😉
