Medieval Times

We had a group birthday celebration for the McCormick kids in Dallas yesterday. We were supposed to go a few weeks ago on Lilli’s birthday but the flu made us have to reschedule so it was a long wait. We all met up at Embassy Suites around 2:30. There were gifts and fun before we left to go to Medieval Times for 3:45.

The dinner and show was very cool. In fact as we were leaving this morning they said it was “the coolest thing they’ve ever done that didn’t involve water.”

Their faces were in awe of this the whole time. It was pretty cool to watch live animals and knights fighting while we had dinner. I think me and the girls were the only ones that ate much since it was meat on a bone and you had to eat everything with you hands but it was actually good. Tomato soup with bread, roasted chicken, potato and corn on the cob.
We got back to the hotel and swam in the indoor pool for a bit and then went back to the room for pizza and birthday cake. Me, Lilli, Katie and Austin were in a room while Rachel and Hailey shared a room with the other kids and Yaya had one to herself (smart woman! 😉) I had my room down at breakfast about 6:30 because my goal was to leave by 7:00. Matt had to work so by the time we got home a little after 10:30 Gypsy had been on her kennel almost 5 hours which is plenty long for a 12 week old puppy. It was early but I didn’t mind the sacrifice. She had fun with her Daddy but I missed her little face ❤️
