Daddy's Girls

The last few weeks have been busy around here too. I’ve realized that’s just my life now. We leave for school about 6:30, get home by 3:30 but leave again by 4:30 4-5 nights a week for riding, gymnastics and cheer and get home between 7:00 and 9:00. I feel like I’m never home but can’t complain. My grandpa always told me a busy person is a happy person. 😊 2 weeks ago was a huge milestone for our girls and their Daddy too. Kathleen got her first deer and it’s a nice one!  She and Matt hunted for a few weekends before she got it and she was so excited! That same morning, Lillian had a milestone too when she got her first deer without her Daddy in the stand with her. Big day for our girls! The next weekend was Kathleen’s first gymnastics meet of the season. It was the in-house one, so scores aren’t reported to NGA, but it’s good practice for the real ones coming up. It’s been a busy few weeks around here. We got right back into school after fall break, but have been playing some too. The first weekend after we went back was opening of deer season and each of the girls got time in the stand with Matt. Lillian got her first deer of the season too! The next day was our annual pumpkin patch pictures with Yaya and Hailey. I love having these to look back on through the years.  Kathleen got to go see Josh and Hailey’s new house that’s almost done that afternoon, but Lillian and I had to stay in Bossier so she could work. She’s loving her job and her riding is really improving too!  The next day, GranJan came in town for 2 nights. She wanted to see Lillian ride and watch Kathleen cheer at the last football game of the season too. I got a Sub and Lillian skipped Tuesday to hang out with her and get a pedicure and brunch. (Kathleen couldn’t because she had missed the week before being sick and she wouldn’t have been allowed to cheer) The next week...
