Enjoying our girl time
It hasn't exactly been easy trying to come up with things to occupy our time over the last 2 weeks. Lilli and I are used to spending a lot of time at home so trying to stay out of the painters' way (especially over spring break so no Mother's Day out twice a week) has been interesting. It did hit me today that this couldn't be more perfect timing though. It's made me completely focus on her and do fun things together. When Katie comes in 3 1/2 weeks we won't be able to do things like this for a little while so I'm enjoying every second. Yesterday I took her to get a pedicure. I was really in need of the foot rub and still had a gift certificate from Christmas so she got to benefit. She loves having her toes painted and being girly sometimes.
We started today with a visit to the park and then spent the afternoon at the boardwalk. We both got a haircut, watched the dancing fountains and then Tiffany and Aubrey met us for some yogurt, a carousel ride and a trolley ride. Pretty great day especially considering we started it with no plans.
One more week of house work so I'm sure we'll come up with a few more fun things but luckily she goes back to school on Thursday so that will take up 2. :)
