6 in 6!!

IA little over a year ago I was posting this:


And on Saturday we were all so excited to find out that it's Case's turn to be a big brother!! 

That's right, Josh and Hailey announced that they are expecting baby #2. On February 14th.  That's Josh's birthday and just a few weeks after Lilli's 6th birthday. This family keeps growing! And as Lilli and I were talking about it this morning she said, "my life sure is getting hard with all these babies to watch. (Yes, Lilli, it sure is hard on YOU ;) but it's Case who really has it hard. He's going to have to always be woken up by a crying baby like I had to do!" So funny to hear her perspective. Congrats Josh and Hailey!

Winter Storm 2024

There are only a few weekends lefts of hunting season and last weekend Katie and I decided to go up to the camp with Matt and Lil for a night of it. Shanon and Jeremiah were in town and we wanted to visit with them and spend time with the rest of the family up there too. We only stayed one night to get back for gymnastics and work, but for everyone else, there was a lot of hunting and memories made.  Lillian had to miss Koy’s first tournament of the season, but there was no way she was missing hunting with her dad for that! We got back on Sunday and he came over to tell us about it.  The weatherman had been forecasting snow for a week, but that forecast changed to mostly ice by the time it rolled around. The kids were already out for MLK day, and we were pretty sure Tuesday would be out too since we wouldn’t get above freezing, but they ended up being out through Thursday. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We all love this time of year. For the last 4 days we enjoyed lots of laughter (and good food) surrounded by our family. It started in Baton Rouge on Thursday when we went down to spend a couple of nights with my side of the family. We went out to eat a couple of times plus had 2 big family gatherings for Christmas.  The first picture of all of Pops and Honey's kids and          grandkids together. Jen kept trying to think of something to take the kids to do Friday until Lillian finally said they didn't want to go anywhere, they just wanted to play. I love how much they enjoy spending time together.  Then Sunday we went to church before going to Vivian to celebrate with the rest of the family. It was a nice day full of good food and watching family movies. Of course the highlight for the kids was all the presents but these kids play great together too.
