Changes

We have had a lot of changes in the McCormick house in the last month.  Lilli is adjusting well to kindergarten but she still has some tough days.  She likes it but it's hard for her to be away from me and Katie that long everyday. She thought she would love riding the bus but she doesn't. I don't have a choice in the mornings because Hallie and Sadie drop off right after she leaves but I may start picking her up in the afternoons. Fortunately we're only 5 minutes from school.

Things are going well here with 3 toddlers.  We're all in a routine and I'm getting braver about taking them places. 

The training I did at First Friends has helped around here too. I learned several tricks about keeping them plus the more I get to know them the easier it gets.  

I was originally just going to sub at the school but one of the teachers quit before the year even started so I was asked to share the older 2's class.  I'll teach on Tuesday and Thursday while the kids are at MDO. Hallie and Katie will be in the room next door to me and we'll see each other on the playground and when we do group crafts.  We had open house on Monday and they both loved Mrs. Hope.  I've been having fun setting up my classroom and I think I'm really going to like this job. School starts next week so we'll see! 

And even though I'm really excited about this new adventure I'm still a little sad that I had to quit working for Sandy. I tried but I just couldn't do it all. I'm going to help her train someone next week but it's going to be weird not talking to her everyday. I'd been with her 4 years. I know this is the right move for me though.
