Dawn, Ducks and Dancing

My Saturday morning started by getting the most beautiful picture of Matt's view from the duck blind at dawn on opening morning. The clouds look like God took a paint brush and painted this just for them.  The pictures didn't come close to doing it justice.

            Do you see the rainbow?

They got a limit both days so you know that made for a happy group of guys.

While they were away doing their boy stuff, us girls were here doing our girl stuff. Yaya took us to see the Moscow Ballet's tour of The Great Russian Nutcracker at The Strand and it was amazing.

The girls were very excited to go and Katie made it all of 15 minutes in to the first half before falling asleep in my lap (it started at 2:00 which is usually in the middle of nap time)
She woke up as the lights dimmed again to start the second half. She was mesmerized by the dancers but still a 2 year old so she found it hard to sit still and not talk. I'll just say I'm glad she slept through the first half. :)

We met Hailey and Case at Olive Garden for dinner after and it was nice to have all our (local) girls together. We did miss Rachel, Austin and Josey but are so glad we will all be able to be together for Thanksgiving in a few days. We are supposed to be in Dallas spending the night and going to the aquarium with them right now but Katie's croup got in the way. I'm hopeful that means all of the sickness is gone by the time we are all together Wednesday.
