We Are So Thankful

I am so thankful for our family and friends and all of the time we get to spend together at the deer camp. It's so nice to be able to get together to eat, drink and relax for days on end with nothing we have to do. We got there Wednesday evening and arrived to find 3 four wheelers put together for the kids.  They had hours of fun riding around with each other

Matt went hunting that afternoon and got us another doe for the freezer.  We all gathered outside to watch him clean it. It was Josey's first one to see. Katie likes being the big kid around her. Do you see her trying to lead her to it?

The next day was Thanksgiving and the guys all went hunting all morning while us girls finished the meal and entertained the kids

We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed all gathering around the table together
                                                             Crazy Cap'n! :)

I had Yaya snap a few quick pictures of us after the meal- they are what I'm MOST thankful for

We spent the next few days doing more eating, drinking, napping and laughing!
They are so cute and so much fun to watch. Yaya built them a great fort in the kids room and hours were spent playing in there as well

We left early this morning to have a few hours at home before going to the church for the Hanging of the Greens. It was a beautiful service with Christmas music that explained the meaning behind a lot of the decorations we all use every year.  When we got there the church was about half decorated but by the time we left it was fully done and beautiful. The girls had a part in it by pulling poinsettias in a wagon and placing them on the altar. They did great and were so cute.

I was so glad we agreed to participate in this. It put us in the Christmas spirit and ready to enjoy this advent season.
