Happy Valentine’s Day
I got to spend Valentine’s Day with all of my favorite loves. ❤️
Lillian is STILL running fever on and off (we go to the doc in the morning to be sure there isn’t some sort of secondary infection) so the girls and I got to sleep in again. We woke up to the sweetest Valentines that Matt had left before work.
I told him I didn’t need flowers this year but he didn’t listen. 💕 Lillian had written each of us a sweet note and had painted some pictures for Matt too.
I signed Katie up for a Valentine exchange with a bunch of homeschooled kids around the country. She ended up with about 30 of them and we pulled out the map to find where each one was from.
Lillian didn’t mind because she got to sit there and watch and eat candy the whole time. 😃 between that and the cookie cake from Yaya, they got lots of sweets!
I’m very glad I felt up to doing that but I was WIPED after and had to nap about an hour.
(First tooth lost in this house!)
But so far so good and we are confident this sickness is about done for us!

I had a little class party in the dining room too.

My car left the garage for the first time in a week when I went to drive around to deliver all of my real estate “pop bys.” I usually spend three or four days doing deliveries so it’s not so much time at once, but of course Covid had other ideas. I had spent too much time getting all these handwritten notes out for Valentine’s Day to have them delivered after the holiday so I drove around for about three hours this morning to get them all out.
I’m very glad I felt up to doing that but I was WIPED after and had to nap about an hour.
We had a really nice evening of family time and a delicious dinner of steak, roasted potatoes, bacon wrap green beans and avocado. I’m very glad that everyone felt up to hanging out and still keeping my fingers crossed that Matt stays well. He tested again yesterday before going back to work today and it’s still negative. I’m hoping that continues after having his hand in a Covid patient’s mouth the day before we found out she had it 😬
