April catch up
It's only been about 2 1/2 weeks since my last post, but it honestly feels like forever ago. We have been so busy and I'm not exaggerating when I say we are almost never home before 8:00. Our schedule right now is non stop but only 17 more school days until summer!
We love supporting her and it's always so fun.

It was fun to watch her and we got a visit with the family in Baton Rouge the night before. She had an evaluation at a cheer gym in Benton and, based on her skills, they have her trying out for an elite (highest level) team in a couple of weeks. Even if she doesn't make that, she'll still do one level under and compete next year, so our years of traveling tumbling competitions are not done. 😊 Plus she is playing volleyball through the church so she's staying busy
We celebrated Little Rock's 10th birthday on Wednesday too. It's so special that he shares a birthday with my Mom (I knew he was meant to be her horse when I realized), and Jackson showed up with apples and celery plus a gift of grooming tools and treats. He may not know anything about horses, but Lil likes that he supports what she loves

Daniel had an eventful night the same evening because he won his first MMA fight in Pensacola. A lot of the family went to support him and he was on top of the world
We had a nice long weekend for Easter last week too and had some lazy days
And a nice Easter morning spent opening baskets and hunting eggs before church with friends

And Matt and Kathleen cooked us a delicious dinner that night
This week was "Underground Spirit Week" at school. The teachers all had a dress up day each day but the students and Admin had no idea.
It was so fun and they were so confused!
She had a great party last night and we are having a good day today. More to come when the day is over and I'm done with pictures!
I can't say our schedule is all because of "have to's" either. We have plenty between work, school and the kid stuff, but a lot of it is fun. We went to see Taylor's band again one night
Kathleen had what may be her last gymnastics meet. She has lost her love of the sport for everything but floor so we finished the season with the state meet in New Orleans.

She had her first barrel race last weekend too. I know nothing about times or form to tell you how that looked, but she stayed on her horse and didn't hit any poles or barrels

Kathleen and I played hooky yesterday for her birthday and got ready for her party and had a massage together.
