March Catch Up
Only 28 more days of school and I will be DONE. I have decided not to go back to teaching, at least not next year and not middle school, so in 6 weeks I will be enjoying my first day of summer vacation. I'll decide from there what the future holds, but I can say long term teachers are saints. This job is not for the weak, and you can talk about breaks all you want, but I can promise you if teachers didn't get them, you would have NO ONE willing to do this job.

We went down to Baton Rouge to celebrate my birthday with Nana. She made an effort to see me for my birthday for almost 40 years, so now that she can't, I try to go to her

We went to a hockey game and celebrated Maddi's birthday one weekend

Kathleen and Matt got some one on one time and spent time at the camp together and hung out and did some fishing

Lots of new adventures and things going on at the McCormick house, but the most exciting still has to be that summer countdown! 😉
I think my last post was the very start of spring break. We had a good time and didn't do too much. Lillian did her driving for driver's ed and has been practicing a lot. She rode her horse/worked and both girls hung out with friends some
Lillian asked Yaya if she could borrow a camera a while back, and then when she met Jackson she realized he had that hobby too. They have been taking turns practicing at riding lessons and baseball games.

We had a weekend at the deer camp and it was the first time all the McCormicks had a weekend together since Christmas. It was nice to be together and the crawfish was so good!

We have her state gymnastics meet in 5 days and it's looking like this will be her last one. She has decided the only event she likes is floor so we are putting her in just tumbling classes in hopes to try again for cheer next year. She has also recently discovered she likes volleyball and is trying out for the school team. Even if she doesn't make that, she is going to play in a summer league though the church so it will be something new regardless
