Bye Bye Brown St.
Wow, after 13 years we are officially no longer the owners of our home on Brown St. I thought I would cry but I didn’t even tear up. I’m surprised because this is the home our babies came home to. The one where we became a family and they learned to walk and talk and started school. The last one my Mom ever visited and the longest I have ever lived anywhere. It will always be special to me but I think the fact that I’ve only visited it the last 5 weeks and we’ve already been moving for a week made it easier.
We did take the time to take a selfie the last time we were in it together. The new owners are moving from Blanchard with a 5 and 6 year old boy and girl and plan to make this their forever home. We were also very happy to hear they will appreciate those fig and plum trees that we were sad to leave. 😊 So life goes on. And the baby birds we had to leave in our fern were the perfect symbol for that...
The movers came Wednesday and the last 3 days have been 10 hour days of moving and unpacking. Of course the kids are working some pool fun in there
The girls and I are going back tomorrow to get it unpacked enough to be cleaned Sunday. But Sunday we are going to relax and play one more day at the camp before moving in permanently.

Poor little Gypsy is really living up to her name. She has no idea where her home is! This will be her 4th one in her short 5 months of life. She had been at my heels these 3 days with no naps so I told Matt I think she’s grumpy like a toddler. 😉
She’ll do nothing but sleep once we get there permanently! Our plan is to not leave for 2 weeks to self isolate after all this contact with movers and contractors (we did our best to keep our distance but most of the people working didn’t seem too concerned 😬) But that doesn’t sound too bad considering how much work their is to do. So excited for this new chapter!
