Sunday and Shrine Circus

Hailey and I decided to have our garage sale for 2 days over the weekend so Sunday was an early morning as well.  We learned that not too many people come on Sundays but we were both satisfied with how it went for our first experience.  It was kind of nice that it was quiet and Nana and Lizard got to come sit out and visit while it was going on because they were leaving at noon.  It was a lot of work but the weekend was great on top of it.  It was pretty much just a girl slumber party.  Each of us with a dog.  Lizard and her dog were in the guest room, Nana was in Lilli's bed with her dog and me, Hailey and Lilli and our 2 dogs were all in my bed.  I wasn't sure if Hailey and I would get any sleep with that arrangement but it all worked out.  They didn't get in until 7:30 Friday so we hung out for a couple of hours before bed and then Saturday I cooked and we stayed up watching the LSU game and visiting.  I was so grateful that my grandma and aunt drove up to help me while the sale was going on.  Can't thank them enough!

Cara had given us a free ticket to the Shrine Circus so Matt and I promised Lilli last week that we would take her.  She loved it! The elephants were her favorite part, probably because we got to ride one.

The show was exciting for her as well but we only stayed until intermission.  By that time it was almost 8:00 and she had already crawled in my lap and said "I think I'm just going to take a little nap." haha. It was a long weekend for everyone so Matt and I didn't mind leaving early.  It was a fun family night and something we'll remember for a long time.
