Thanksgiving Break
I’ve accepted that I am going to be a week behind (at least!) in my posts. I want to keep up with this blog for family and the girls to have later, but can’t seem to find the time anymore. Oh well, better late than never! We have been back in school for a week, but we had a great week off for Thanksgiving.
It wasn’t the best hunt they have ever had, but they always love every second they can spend in the blind together.
That Monday was a girls day. We met Cara and Yaya to see Wicked and I met Kelli for a pedicure.
We also celebrated Bella’s 10th birthday. You know our dogs are spoiled and get a party complete with a cake
We cooked and hung around the house Tuesday to get ready to go to the camp with the family on Wednesday. We had 3 days of family and hunting.
I even got in a deer stand for the first time! It was a very nice afternoon that I’d like to do again.
But of course the main event was Thanksgiving day. The meal is always so good but the company even better.
The Baton Rouge family had a good day too. A lot of the extended family went to be with Nana. She lived getting to meet Morgan’s baby and Dad‘s friend brought her in his handicap van so that she could be in her comfortable chair for the day
The final day of the break was a horse photo shoot for Lil and her friend Evie. So cute!
She loves Little Rock! And I’m so happy she’s found something she loves doing and is learning so much.
It started with opening weekend of duck season,

Kathleen also got her 2nd deer of the season the same afternoon her Daddy got one too

Eventually, I’ll write a post to catch up with what we’ve been up to in the 2 1/2 weeks that we have between Thanksgiving and Christmas break. It’s always something!
