Our Mother's Day weekend was full of fun from start to finish. We woke up Saturday morning and headed straight to the lake. The day was spent with our family eating, drinking, "swimming" in the hot tub, boiling (and playing with) crawfish and boy did we LAUGH. The only thing that could have made it more perfect was if Chad, Rachel and Austin could have been there. We're already ready for Memorial Day weekend when that can happen.

Of course Yaya was there too but she's always

I didn't wake up until almost 9:00 on Sunday morning! I can't remember the last time I was the last one up. After we had one of Capn's famous breakfasts, we got dressed and came home. Lilli had this surprise waiting for me:
I'm pretty sure her Daddy helped her out a little bit with this one. :)
After naps, all 3 of us went to Gators and Friends for the afternoon. Exactly what I wanted for Mother's Day... something fun for us all to do together.

She told the Mama deer Happy Mother's Day |
After the kiddo was asleep this is what Matt fixed me for dinner:
King crab legs steamed from Brookshire's and bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese! Happy Mother's Day to me, haha. Matt said he always benefits from my holidays. Perfect end to a perfect day.
I thought twice about reading "Bambi" to her last time she was here. Now I KNOW I'm not reading it to her!!!! hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a happy day ... with the gators!!!
(and your family!)
The funny thing is she's seen the movie a bunch of times and it doesn't phase her. I was worried about it the first time but maybe she just doesn't get it yet. :)
