A Happy Halloween!
Our Halloween fun lasted for a day and a half. It started Sunday evening with pumpkin carving. Matt takes this very seriously and he likes to choose patterns with high skill levels. He and Ms. KJ did one "together" this year.
Lilli had been saying for weeks that she wanted to carve one herself. I honestly didn't think she'd be able to do it but she proved me wrong! She scooped most of it and then Matt helped her get the last little bit and put the pattern on it for her. Other than helping her cut out a few of the fingers (they were kind of small) she did it all!
She's always surprising me with how big she is. I think it's because I want her to stay small. :)
Monday was Halloween and Katie's party at First Friends. I had done things with Lilli's school the last couple of weeks so she was excited it was her turn to have Mama at school. She was the cutest little witch ever.
They had trick or treating through the MDO classes and church offices
And then frame making for their class picture, snacks, games and a bounce house
But the highlight for all of the kids was definitely the cow train.
(See Matt! I keep telling you this is what we "need" at the camp :)
All of that fun was before it was time for the real highlight of Halloween- trick or treating! Our little Catwoman and Batgirl had a great time. We made one lap around the block and that gave them over half a bucket of candy and they were happy with that.
We were home by 7:00 and they were asleep by 8:00. That's the way these McCormicks like to do Halloween.
And I didn't get pictures of all of the cousins but we did get to see Case, Lane and Anna. Looks like all of the family had a great night!
