She showed up with donuts this morning in a blowup dinosaur costume and got to hug her grandbabies for the first time in over three months. I got a hug too and to be honest watching them and getting one myself had me tearing up. Contact is a NEED and this was a fun solution. Things may look a little different but we are finding ways to “physical” distance not “social” distance. This could be going on for quite a while so we’re going to have to get creative.

We’ve seen Yaya a few times but always from 6ft apart and it’s hard to be so close and not able to hug. So she came up with a solution for that too!
