Fall Photo Shoots
We have finally been having some great fall weather. It’s been in the lower 80s during the day (Louisiana fall, lol) and down to the 50s at night. We took advantage of it this weekend and spent the whole time outside.
I LOVE this black and white one. I think I’m going to have to frame it. We only have one more practice and two more games for the season and she is very sad for it to end. We will keep up her weekly lesson and time in the batting cage though.
We thought about getting in the pool, but it was way too cold, so we spent a few hours hanging out in the front yard doing gymnastics (yes, even the Mamas did some cartwheels) and having a farm animal photo shoot. It started by playing with the baby chickens outside, but by the time it was said and done, we had pumpkin pics of all 5 chickens, the Guinea pigs and the bearded dragon.
Everyone rested for a bit before getting up about 4:00 to start setting up for our Hocus Pocus 2 outdoor movie night. We only had a few friends over, but of course I had to make it a themed night. I’ve loved the original movie since I was 11 years old and have been excited for the sequel. Luckily, most of it was just pulling our decorations we already had out of the attic, and Jimmy sent Chick-Fil-A, so all I really had to do was pick up a sandwich tray and make a few desserts
Lilli had some new friends over that I’d never met, and Kathleen invited Sadie, as well as the cousins of course. We partied until about 10:30 and all of the girls played really well together. They picked teams for a 4 on 4 softball game, played on the trampoline and swing, and then we watched the movie. They were really sweet and I even got to visit some more with a couple of the parents today at the National Junior Honor Society Induction ceremony. We are so proud of Lillian for this accomplishment again this year.
It was a very full weekend and we are tired but it was a wonderful one too. I love the memories that were made ❤️
Lilli had her last Friday softball practice of the season, and one of the Moms brought her good camera to take team pics.

When we got back, Jen and the girls had just gotten here to spend the weekend. I was very excited because it’s the first time just the 3 of them have ever come and we got to have some girl time. Normally when I see her, there’s a crowd. We had a lazy Saturday morning and then we went to Asbury Pumpkin Patch to take some pics and run the errands for the party.
