The Last Full Week
I truly cannot believe school starts in 4 days and this is the last weekend we have of summer. It went by so fast! I’ve been trying to spend as much time with them as I can while also getting some work done. I’m sure going to miss them but I can definitely say it will be easier to get things accomplished after Wednesday!
Wednesday we had Shaleigh over to play all day and Thursday we went to the pool with Cara and Josie.
Today was Altitude with friends and Lilli finally got to go back to art.
There were classes all summer but we could never seem to get there at those times. She’s excited to go back regularly and also go back to gymnastics. Those are our only after school activities this year so hopefully it won’t be as crazy as last year was for us! And to top it off we got class lists today.
Lily and Shaleigh are both with Lillian again and Britney and Katie are back together. They were inseparable in preschool but had different teachers in kindergarten. I have a feeling they may have to be separated 😉
Hopefully now that pressure will be off and she can enjoy her fourth grade year! Can’t believe she’s in the big kid building.
Tuesday Katie and I went to Chuck E. Cheese just the 2 of us. I told them each I’d do something one on one and Lil and I went to a movie last weekend so this time it was her turn and this is what she picked.

And we got Lilli’s test results from her first LEAP test. She had been nervous since 2nd grade (which is ridiculous how much pressure teachers put on these kids about this, but no one asked my opinion.🤷♀️) but she rocked it! The highest score in each subject is 850 so you can see how well she did. There’s also a five level score with advanced and mastery the top two. So that tells you something too.
Hopefully now that pressure will be off and she can enjoy her fourth grade year! Can’t believe she’s in the big kid building.
