I've never blogged about food before but I love to cook and try new recipes. I was trying out a new one today and decided I'm going to start putting them on here because there is no easier way to share. This is a recipe I got from Pinterest for squash chips and they are definitely worth trying! So super easy too. All you do is slice them as thin as you can, put them in a ziploc and coat with olive oil and salt (pinterest recipe just had salt but I think the olive oil made it) and then spread them out in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 200 for 2-3 hours. (Mine took about 2 1/2)

They look burned but trust me they didn't taste that way. They are more brown than the pic from Pinterest but I found they had to get this way to get crispy. Maybe it was the olive oil. All 3 of us loved them and Lilli felt like she was getting a treat to have chips for dinner. Definitely great for kids!
