They Made It

Matt, Josh And Capn made it to Canada today and isn’t it beautiful? I would never be interested in hunting up there but I sure could sit here and watch the scenery! I can’t wait to hear how their hunts go.  The girls and I drove to Alexandria after church to meet Jimmy for lunch and bring Nana home with us for the week. They are so excited to have her here and Jimmy and I decided when it’s going to be several months between visits we’re going to try to meet once a month. The drive is too easy! I think everyone in this family is excited for the week. 

First Soccer Game

Katie played in her first ever soccer game this morning at Tinsley field in Bossier City. She had no idea what to expect but had the best time. And I think she did great, especially considering she had never even seen a soccer field with lines on it before. She hustled after that ball and even got in a few kicks. Her team didn’t win but that did not stop her from having fun. She’s #4  We went to celebrate her day with a lunch at outback before driving Daddy to the airport. Then we had two friends over for about a four hour play date. The girls played together so well and Kelli and I never had to intervene and she and I got to hang out. They were busy so that one picture I got was them at the table with an no one looking but oh well I had some tired girls and within an hour of them all leaving they were curled up on the couch next to me asleep. Now it’s time for some late LSU football while I wait for a call from Matt to say he made it. :)  We went to celebrate her day with a lunch at o
