Teal and Tigers
Between opening weekend of teal season, a nail biting game that ended in a Tiger win, and our best friends being in town... it was a great weekend in Arkansas.
It’s only been a few weeks but they are seriously loving it and I am loving the values and responsibility that they emphasize and teach.
(Ok, this pic isn’t at the camp but Alex sent to me and I had to include it for when this blog prints because it’s so cute!)
After the Tigers won against Auburn Matt took us for a ride to see his smart weed. It’s so pretty and the girls got to ride their 4 wheelers so everyone was happy.
And this morning I taught Lillian how to scramble eggs. She did it all from the cracking to the cleanup and that’s a serious game changer if she can cook for all these kids up there. 😉
It was a really good weekend and we’re already looking forward to the next time they come back!
We didn’t get there until after 8:00 Friday because the girls didn’t want to miss Girl Scouts. Lillian is working on a pet care badge so she had to learn to clean the hamster cage on her own this week and Katie did some things at the meeting that will be help her earn her camping badge after the camp out next weekend.

So it was pretty much to bed for them when we got there and Logan was already asleep so we didn’t get to see him. But me, Matt, Shanon and Alex hung out until after 11:00 so that was a late night for me! We made up for missing that evening on Saturday though with lots of playing. Logan was unsure of the girls at first but within 30 minutes they were playing and having fun.
